Things are looking good for this Saturday, 19 January, 2008. Not definite, but likely….
WordPress software upgrade
I upgraded CVARC’s w1bd.org site from WordPress version 2.3.1 to version 2.3.2, so the site might have looked a little strange for a few minutes this evening. The new version is apparently much more secure, so we amateur radioists in central Vermont will be able to rest easy….
Williamstown repeater status
On Tuesday afternoon, 8 January, 2008, CVARC’s W1BD Williamstown repeater on 146.625 MHz went off-line. Thanks to the gracious good will of Allen Wilde N1IOE, the CVARC nets usually heard on W1BD in Williamstown are being held on Allen’s repeater in Barre. Many, many thanks to Allen:
