On Tuesday afternoon, 8 January, 2008, CVARC’s W1BD Williamstown repeater on 146.625 MHz went off-line. Thanks to the gracious good will of Allen Wilde N1IOE, the CVARC nets usually heard on W1BD in Williamstown are being held on Allen’s repeater in Barre. Many, many thanks to Allen:
- Frequency: 147.390 MHz
- Offset +600 Hz
- P/L tone: 100 Hz
Also, though we should try not to “ragchew” on N1IOE’s repeater, we should remember it for emergency and priority use at this time, since the Williamstown, Mt. Ellen, Jay Peak, and Bolton repeaters are all either “down” or working poorly.
